My main role is to support students in their projects by fostering their independence: rather than giving them the answer, I guide their thinking and debugging process.
My daily routine revolves around the project lifecycle (kickoffs, working group follow-ups, organizing oral and technical defenses) and requires thorough preparation: creating educational materials, staying up-to-date with technology, and identifying students who need extra support.
We also have assistants (AERs) to support us, whom we coordinate for upcoming activities, ensuring the quality of their mentoring and making sure they pass on the right values.
In my case, I also take responsibility for the smooth running of the various training programs hosted on campus, including creating and updating content, as well as developing custom technical tools for projects (see API my_snapchat and EpiCarrier).
Finally, my role also involves representing the school by participating in open days, trade shows, and providing internship and apprenticeship follow-ups.

During this internship at the start of my second year of studies, my main task was to set up and test geospatial data entry and consultation tools.
One of these tools needed to be deployed on a Raspberry Pi with a PostgreSQL database. We decided to take the experience further by synchronizing with remote Windows and Linux servers.
I was also responsible for writing detailed documentation for each tool (from setup to encountered issues and how to resolve them, etc.).
