THE PROJECT
This project was carried out in an educational context to design an API and web application simulating the operations of a carrier in an e-commerce setting.
THE CHALLENGE
The main technical challenges involved modeling transportation rules, including calculating shipping times between different countries, estimating costs (shipping, postage, additional services), and managing currency conversions.
THE TECHNICAL SOLUTION
The developed API allows estimating the cost and delivery time for a given package. A client-side web interface also provides the ability to track a package by its ID, replicating a user experience similar to that of a real carrier.
